Our Beliefs

About God
God is the all knowing, all loving, all powerful eternal creator who exists in three distinct, but equal persons known as the Trinity.  These three parts of the Trinity are known as God the Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit.

About The Bible
The Bible is the divinely inspired word of God.  As such, it is without error.  The Bible tells us one complete narrative of the sinful nature of man and the opportunity of redemption through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
About Jesus
Jesus Christ is the second person of the Holy Trinity and came to earth as God incarnate.  Born of the virgin Mary, Jesus is fully God and fully man.  He lived a sinless life on this earth before offering Himself as a perfect sacrifice on the cross.  On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead to prove authority over both sin and death.  He ascended bodily into heaven and will one day return to reign as Lord over all.
About Humanity
Mankind was created by God but was eventually separated from God by the first sin in the Garden of Eden.  Humanity is inherently sinful and can only be restored to God through the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
About Salvation
Salvation, or Eternal Life, is offered to all individuals through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  True Salvation is achieved through grace by faith and not of works.  Salvation is truly eternal, and a believer cannot be fully separated from God.
About Baptism
Baptism, practiced by immersion, is the public sign of a believer’s repentance.  Going under the water and coming back up is symbolic to the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Baptism should only be practiced on believers who have made a public confession of their faith.
