The Road to Restoration ()

Bo Grace, July 8, 2018
Part of the series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Some people like to restore old cars or furiture It really is amazing how some people can take what looks like junk to everybody else, and make it “new” again… maybe even better than new.
God is in the “restoration business.” That’s what happened when you got saved. As a child, you were innocent before God, but at the age of accountability you needed to be RESTORED to God. When you became a Christian, God gave you a clean slate with Him… a relationship that was sweet – a trophy of His grace. But maybe your relationship with God has gotten “rusty.” Maybe your spiritual “paint job” is not nearly as shiny as it once was.
If that describes you, I hope you have not resigned yourself to staying like that, because God wants so much more for you. He wants to RESTORE you!
There is not only joy in your salvation, but there is great joy in RESTORATION.
