The Secret is Service (Romans 12:1-2)

Bo Grace, February 11, 2018
Part of the series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul to the church at Rome. Much of the book is regarding doctrinal instruction, but the passage we will consider today helps us understand how to experience the “abundant life.”
The most important and basic step to abundant life is salvation. Until a person has peace with God through a personal relationship with Christ, there is no possibility of true abundant life – no matter how much power, prestige, money, or stuff you may have. But countless Christians continue to live defeated lives. What are they missing? THE SECRET IS SERVICE.

Romans 12:1-2

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
