Another Power Play TUC #12 (Acts 12:1-25)

Bo Grace, June 25, 2017
Part of the The Unstoppable Church series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

When we elected a president who was a strong business man, and not a politician, our nations was –and still is “shook up.”
Since Donald Trump became President, there has been a lot going on… or is it just all that’s in the news? From day one, it has been all about “power plays.” How much authority does he have? What about the judges, James, Comey, on and on we could go, but this message is not about politics in America. It is about politics in Bible days around Israel.
The UNSTOPPABLE CHURCH was upsetting the political and religious apple cart of the day. The Christians were persecuted, jailed, and beaten, and killed – all in the name of religious and political expediency. Chapter 12 tells us about some of those days. We will see who really has the POWER.
